Our obedience classes focus on building a strong relationship with your dog based on leadership, trust and cooporation.

Socialisation and activity are vital for the physical and mental wellbeing of our dogs.  The trust they establish with you will allow them to interact positively with the community, as you learn how dog behaviour adapts to their work with humans. Our obedience classes will provide your dog a chance to make other canine friends and achieving praise from you is one of the best things you can do for your dog. Through activities and classes we can teach our dogs how we want them to be around us, for a more enjoyable life together.

As a registered club with Dogswest we run training classes for all breeds of dogs from 13 weeks og age and older. We teach you to alter your dog’s behaviour by using a system of rewards. The most common rewards used are food and toys. Any activity that your dog enjoys can be used as a form of reward. Remember to bring your dog’s favourite toy along.
